Introducing Bulletproof Recovery - A FREE alumni aftercare program by Pennsylvania Recovery Center
We at PRC, and treatment providers around the world know the truth. The truth is that the longer a client or patient is involved in aftercare the better chance they have at success in recovery from addiction and alcohol. This has been proven across the medical field as most serious illnesses like cancer or heart disease have strict follow up, and aftercare requirements. These are commonplace, and standard. Why then are Substance Use Disorder providers ending all contact with clients once they "complete" their program and can no longer bill insurance. We think the answer is obvious it's because they are not being paid to care anymore. Here at PRC we care more than most and will go above and beyond to help our clients. Our client's outcome of success is our number one priority. That is why we created the Bulletproof Recovery Aftercare program for our Alumni. We looked at some of the most successful programs designed on helping physicians and nurses to maintain their recovery in order to stay licensed to provide care. If this model is working so well why then are we not adopting similar programs for the everyman or everywoman? Well, now it is available. We hope to compile and share data on the success of the program in the coming years.
What is Bulletproof Recovery?
Our objective is to strengthen the recovery program of individuals who graduate from Pennsylvania Recovery Center’s Outpatient programs. The goal is to make your Recovery tough & unbreakable. We believe this can be achieved through a client committing fully to their program with recovery resources to enhance accountability. No we do not think or warrant this program will make you impervious to relapse, BUT it can assist you in your goal of self-determination. Alcohol & drugs ran our lives for years it’s time to take back our time and use it to the best of our ability.
Who would benefit from this program?
This program can help anyone struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues, but also anyone who just wants some good orderly direction. We designed this program to be a supplement to individuals' recovery as we believe in long term aftercare support.
What is the cost?
There is NO COST for this program. Again, it is completely free for individuals who complete partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and generalized outpatient here at Pennsylvania Recovery Center. We will not be billing any insurance for services or accepting any funds from our clients. We wanted to show our clients just how dedicated we are to them and their recovery.
How does it work?
Bulletproof recovery is a structured support program with random drug testing, individual meetings with a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS), case management, and peer support groups. The initial program is 6 months in length but can be extended if needed for additional support. We will be offering rewards for those who complete the Bulletproof recovery program and join the exclusive fellowship.
