At Pennsylvania Recovery Center (PRC), we understand the importance of long-term support. Research shows that the longer a client is involved in aftercare, the better their chances for success in recovery from addiction and alcohol use. Serious medical conditions like cancer or heart disease have strict follow-up and aftercare requirements; why shouldn’t addiction treatment have the same standard?
Many Substance Use Disorder providers end all contact with clients once they “complete” their program, often because insurance no longer reimburses them. At PRC, we prioritize our clients’ recovery above all. That is why we created the Bulletproof Recovery Aftercare program for our alumni. Modeled after programs for physicians and nurses maintaining recovery to stay licensed, this program is now available for everyone seeking long-term recovery support. We hope to compile and share program success data in the coming years.
Bulletproof Recovery strengthens the recovery program for individuals who graduate from PRC’s outpatient programs. The goal is to make your recovery strong and resilient. By committing fully to the program and using provided recovery resources, clients enhance accountability and support their long-term goals. While this program does not make anyone impervious to relapse, it can assist in fostering self-determination and control over one’s life.
This program can help anyone struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues. It is also suitable for those seeking structured guidance and direction. Bulletproof Recovery supplements individual recovery efforts, emphasizing long-term aftercare support.
There is no cost for this program. It is completely free for individuals who complete partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, or general outpatient programs at Pennsylvania Recovery Center. PRC does not bill insurance or accept funds for this program—it is our way of showing dedication to our clients’ recovery.
Bulletproof Recovery is a structured support program that includes random drug testing, individual meetings with a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS), case management, and peer support groups. The initial program lasts six months but can be extended if additional support is needed. Rewards are offered for clients who complete the program and join the exclusive fellowship.
