Shawn McGinness

      After years of numerous failed attempts and endless deeper bottoms, Shawn found sobriety on March 26th, 2015 by force, not by choice.  Incarcerated for his actions related to addiction, it saved his life and brought him to a point of Spiritual Belief, Humility, and Gratitude.  Given a second chance at a life, Shawn fought for each day to improve himself and prayed for a chance to help others not follow his footsteps.  

      

Released to Phoenix Recovery Project in 2019, Shawn immersed himself into the 12 Steps and quickly rose to a role as house manager and helping with operations.  His journey with Pennsylvania Recovery Center became official in 2021 as a Behavioral Health Technician/ Operations and Director of Housing.  In 2022 he was named Chief Operating Officer and helped develop and implement the growth to four treatment centers and almost a dozen recovery homes.
