TRICARE covers medically necessary substance use disorder treatment, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, when delivered by an authorized provider.
TRICARE Prime generally requires a referral and authorization through your primary care manager or regional contractor. TRICARE Select allows more direct access but may carry a cost share.
Active duty service members have specific command and referral requirements that differ from those for family members and retirees. We will tell you plainly what your plan requires before you commit to anything.
Many of the veterans we treat come through VA Community Care rather than TRICARE. If that is your route, we can verify it in the same call.
