Southern Chester County has long been treated as the edge of everybody else's service area. For years, someone in Avondale, West Grove or Oxford who needed real outpatient care had two options: drive toward Wilmington, or drive toward Philadelphia. Both mean an hour in the car before a six-hour treatment day, five days a week — which is why so many people here start treatment and never finish it.
What we see in this corridor is mostly alcohol, opioids that began as prescriptions and now often arrive as fentanyl, and a heavy layer of untreated anxiety, depression and grief. It runs through families that have worked the same farms, greenhouses and trades for generations, in towns small enough that people are careful about who knows.

Ten to fifteen minutes from Kennett Square, West Grove and Toughkenamon, and about twenty from Oxford and Cochranville — most southern Chester County clients are closer to us than to any hospital program.

Roughly a half hour from Newark and Hockessin, Delaware, and from Rising Sun, Maryland, up Route 896 or Route 1. Bring your insurance card and we will verify out-of-state plans before you start.

We do not run a detox unit ourselves. If you need medical withdrawal management first, we coordinate with trusted detox providers in Chester County and northern Delaware and hold your seat so you start PHP or IOP once you are medically cleared.

Yes for IOP — day and evening tracks exist for exactly that. PHP runs about six hours a day, so most clients use FMLA or a short leave, and we provide the documentation an employer needs.
