Privacy Policy

Pennsylvania Recovery Center · Last updated November 7, 2026

This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We never sell your data, and we never share the details you put in our forms or chat with analytics, advertising or call tracking companies. If you are already a patient, the handling of your treatment records is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which is more protective and controls where the two overlap.

1. Information you give us

We collect information only when you choose to send it — for example when you request an insurance verification, check availability, complete the level of care questionnaire, send a message from our contact page, or chat with our virtual assistant. Depending on the form, that may include:

  • Name and date of birth
  • Phone number and email address
  • Insurance carrier and member ID
  • The office or program you are interested in
  • Anything you type into a message or chat

Every lead form includes an express consent checkbox. When you check it and submit, we save the exact disclosure text you agreed to and the date and time, together with your submission, so your affirmative choice is kept on record.

Please do not send sensitive clinical details through website forms or chat. Email and web forms are not fully secure channels. If you would rather speak privately, call (610) 233-4342.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers and service providers record limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, and approximate location. We use this to keep the site secure, prevent abuse of our forms, and understand which pages are useful.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to you and follow up about treatment
  • To verify insurance benefits with your carrier
  • To schedule an evaluation or admission
  • To answer questions asked through our virtual assistant
  • To operate, secure, and improve this website

4. Your privacy choices

When you first visit, a small notice at the bottom-left of the screen explains your choices. Analytics, call tracking and external media (embedded videos, maps and review widgets) are all on by default. You can Accept, Reject optional, or Customize each category:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work (security, form submissions, remembering your choices). Always on.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4, which counts visits and page views.
  • Marketing and call tracking — CallTrackingMetrics, which shows a tracking phone number so we can tell which ad or search led to a call.
  • External media — embedded third-party content such as YouTube videos. On by default; turn it off in Customize if you prefer.

Your choices are saved in your browser's local storage with a timestamp and a history of changes, so they persist across visits. After you scroll, the notice collapses into a small circular button at the bottom-left of every page — click it at any time to change or withdraw your choices. Turning call tracking off after it has loaded reloads the page so the service fully stops.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, analytics and call tracking are off by default. You can still turn them on yourself in Customize, and we treat that explicit choice as your instruction.

5. Cookies, tracking & the vendors we use

Depending on your choices, these vendors may receive information from your visit:

VendorWhat it doesInformation it may receive
Google Analytics (Google LLC)Measures site traffic and how pages are usedPages viewed, referring page, device and browser details, IP address, cookie identifiers
Google Ads & Tag Manager (Google LLC)Measures whether our ads lead to calls or inquiriesAd click identifiers, pages viewed, call-button clicks, device details, IP address
CallTrackingMetricsShows a tracking phone number so we can tell which ad or source led to a callPages viewed, referring source, device details, IP address, and call details such as the calling number, time, and duration

Google Analytics runs in consent mode with advertising signals always denied — we do not use it to build advertising profiles. Page views are sent as the page path only. We never send the contents of our forms, your insurance details, anything you type to our virtual assistant, or any health information to the vendors above, and form conversion events contain no personal information.

CallTrackingMetrics may replace the phone numbers shown on this site with tracking numbers so calls can be attributed to their source. If you turn call tracking off, the page reloads and our direct number is shown.

External media providers such as YouTube receive your IP address and browser details when external media is on — and a video still starts only when you click to play it. If you turn external media off, a placeholder is shown and nothing loads from the third party. Each vendor handles data under its own privacy policy: Google, CallTrackingMetrics.

This site also uses cookies and browser storage that are necessary for it to function, including the record of your privacy choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; core parts of the site will still work.

6. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share information only with:

  • Our own admissions and clinical staff
  • Your insurance carrier, when you ask us to verify your benefits
  • Service providers who host this website, deliver our email, and store submissions, under contracts requiring them to protect it
  • The analytics, advertising, and call tracking vendors listed above, within the limits of the choices you made
  • Referral partners such as a detox provider, when you ask us to arrange that care
  • Anyone else you specifically authorize, or as required by law

7. How long we keep it

Form submissions and chat transcripts are retained only as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our legal, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations, then deleted or de-identified. If you become a patient, your clinical record is retained under Pennsylvania and federal requirements.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls, and vetted vendors to protect information submitted through this site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your choices and rights

You may ask us what information we hold from your website submissions, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. You can change or withdraw your tracking choices at any time using the circular privacy button at the bottom-left of any page, or the control in the "Your privacy choices" section above. Patients have additional rights described in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website or the law changes. The date at the top reflects the current version.
