Gay Street on a Friday night is the clearest picture of West Chester's relationship with alcohol. Between the university's roughly 17,000 students, the young professionals who stayed after graduating, and the courthouse and law-firm crowd, this is a town where a heavy week of drinking never looks out of place — which is exactly what makes it hard to spot the point where it stopped being social.

Coming from West Goshen or East Bradford, Business 30 east to 113 north is an easy alternate that avoids the 100/30 interchange entirely.

Admissions will also tell you plainly whether our level of care satisfies your specific order. A court-ordered DUI education requirement and a clinical recommendation for IOP are not the same thing, and enrolling in the wrong one wastes both your money and your deadline. Usually yes. Evening IOP runs nine to fifteen hours a week and virtual IOP keeps working over breaks and between semesters. If your use is at the level where PHP is the honest recommendation, we will say so and help you think through a medical leave.
Not always — daily heavy alcohol use is one of the few withdrawals that can be medically dangerous. Call before you quit cold. If you need supervised detox first, we coordinate that placement and hold your seat for the day you are cleared.
