The suburbs are not spared. Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Berks County residents are dying from counterfeit pills stamped to look like Percocet or Xanax that contain fentanyl or a nitazene instead.[1][2]
Xylazine — tranq — does not respond to Narcan, slows healing and causes the deep soft-tissue wounds now common across Philadelphia. It has made withdrawal harder and medical coordination more important than ever.[4]

Buprenorphine (Suboxone, Sublocade) blunts cravings and withdrawal without the high, and it is the most strongly supported treatment for opioid use disorder we have.[6] Our medical director manages dosing on-site while you attend PHP or IOP.
For clients who want to be on no opioid at all, monthly extended-release naltrexone blocks opioid receptors entirely. It requires being fully detoxed first, and admissions helps sequence that safely.
We do not run a detox unit. Admissions arranges medically supervised withdrawal — including tranq-complicated withdrawal — with trusted providers in Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, then brings you straight into PHP with no gap.
Most people using opioids daily are managing something older than the drug. EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy and Seeking Safety treat the trauma and anxiety driving use instead of leaving it for later.
Depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder and ADHD are common alongside opioid use. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management happen inside the same program, not at a separate clinic across town.
Harm reduction is not the opposite of recovery — it is what keeps someone alive long enough to get there. We train families on Narcan, test strips and what an overdose actually looks like.

Opioid withdrawal is rarely fatal on its own, but it is severe enough that most people relapse to stop it — vomiting, diarrhea, insomnia, restless legs, crushing anxiety, and with tranq in the mix, agitation that lasts longer than classic dope sickness.[4]

Yes. Buprenorphine (Suboxone, Sublocade) and monthly Vivitrol are both available and managed by our medical director alongside your PHP or IOP schedule — you do not need a separate MAT clinic.

Tell us on the first call. Xylazine withdrawal is harder and wounds often need medical attention, so we route those cases to detox partners equipped for it and coordinate wound care before and during treatment.
Many clients do. IOP runs day, evening and virtual tracks at nine to fifteen hours a week, and we provide FMLA and short-leave documentation for clients who need PHP's six-hour day first.
