Complementary approaches like Reiki and sound therapy have far less evidence for treating any disease — we present them as relaxation and comfort practices, which is what they are.[2]
Your clinical plan is still driven by individual therapy twice a week, small process groups, CBT, DBT, EMDR where indicated, and medical oversight.
If a practice is not helping you, skip it. Nothing here is mandatory or billed as treatment on its own.
