Pennsylvania Recovery Center is licensed in Pennsylvania. Our offices are in Phoenixville, Center City Philadelphia and Avondale. When someone calls us from New Jersey, we do not pretend the state line does not exist — we either get you to our Center City office, which is a short trip from Camden County, or we hand you to a sister program that is licensed where you live.

For a lot of Camden County residents, our Center City Philadelphia office at 1026 Winter Street is closer and simpler than driving east. PATCO into the city, walk or take a short ride, and you are in group. Day and evening intensive outpatient tracks exist specifically so people can keep working, and partial hospitalization runs the full clinical day when you need more structure. How long you stay in PHP is determined by you and your clinical team based on progress, not a fixed number of weeks.
Detox is referral based on both sides of the river — we coordinate a medically supervised detox bed and then pick you up in PHP or IOP so nothing falls through the cracks. If medication is part of your plan, Suboxone, Sublocade and Vivitrol are prescribed alongside programming, never as a standalone script.

Do you treat New Jersey residents?+
Yes, when it makes sense. Our licensed offices are in Pennsylvania — Phoenixville, Center City Philadelphia and Avondale — and plenty of South Jersey residents commute to Center City. If your insurance network or your schedule makes a New Jersey program a better fit, we refer you to our sister programs in Cherry Hill and Marlton instead of pushing you across the bridge.
Can I do virtual IOP from New Jersey?+
Our virtual IOP is licensed for people located in Pennsylvania. If you live in New Jersey, our sister program Jersey Behavioral Health handles telehealth care on that side of the river. Central admissions will tell you honestly which one you qualify for before you commit to anything.
Is detox available in New Jersey?+
Yes, through our partner network. Detox is referral based — we do not run a detox unit ourselves. We help arrange medically supervised detox at a licensed New Jersey facility and then coordinate the step down into PHP or IOP so there is no gap between levels of care.
Which insurance plans work in New Jersey?+
Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Independence Blue Cross and TRICARE are common. Because networks differ by state, call (610) 233-4342 and we will verify your plan for both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey options before you choose.
What if I am closer to Philadelphia than to Cherry Hill?+
Many South Jersey residents are. Our Center City Philadelphia office at 1026 Winter Street is a short PATCO or bridge trip from Camden County, and evening IOP groups are built for people who work. If that is easier for you than driving deeper into New Jersey, we will say so.
